More from Apple’s New Music list. Next up, we have a band called Venturi and their newest album, No Puede Ser Peor (It Can Not Be Worse) This new release comes three years after the debut album, Mi Estúpida Opinión (My Stupid Opinion).
The Madrid-based rock band is made up of Daniel Durán (lead vocals and bass), Jonás Batuecas (guitar and drums), and Lucas Olazabal (guitar and drums)* Information from the internet. Together, they are heating up the local music scenes with their new music.
The album, No Puede Ser Peor features ten tracks that are solid rock with a hint of punk to it. The album was produced by Carlos Hernández Nombel, who has worked with Viva Suecia in the past. The first single, “Woman” has done well on YouTube. I first heard about the band when Apple music released the single, “Bruce Banner”. Both of the singles are far from the best on the album.
After spending the afternoon with this band on repeat, I have decided that I really do like this band. Their first album is available on Apple Music, which I downloaded for a listen in the future. The songs I feel are a great representation of the group’s album are “Hacerte El Amor” (Make Love To You) and “Como Es Mi Socio” (How Is My Partner). The latter has the potential to be successful for the band.
The music works with Daniel’s vocals. His high voice is what you want to hear when listening to this punk-infused rock. The trio is a solid-sounding band and I am glad I found them. Give them a listen and tell us what you think. We’d love to hear from you.
