It has been 7 years since Spanish singer, Enrique Iglesias released a full-length album. Sex and Love was released in 2014. This week, Enrique presents his newest released FINAL Vol. 1
FINAL Vol. 1 is Iglesia’s eleventh studio album which is a bilingual pop/urban combination that showcases the versatility of Enrique in both English and Spanish. The first single was a collaboration with Farruko entitled, “Me Pasé” which was a summer hit. Going into the singer’s second single, Enrique released the song, “Pendejo” which is an upbeat pop track that hints of urban flair.
It captures the intoxicating sensation of lust, the tear left by a breakup, and the overwhelming power that love has to drive us crazy and turns us into “assholes” – Enrique Iglesias
The music video for “Pendejo”, directed by the legendary Jessy Terrero and starring the artist alongside Mexican actress Renata Notni. In the story, the stars live sensual and intimate moments in beautiful settings, such as the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset, revealing the incredible chemistry that exists between them and that will undoubtedly make fans sweat.
Other collaborations on the album feature Myke Towers, Wisin, Descemer Bueno, Zion & Lennox, Bad Bunny, and Pitbull. In 2020, Iglesias had planned to tour with Ricky Martin but the series of concerts were postponed due to the shutdown. Since the reopening of events, the tour continues this year with dates across the US.
