Versatile singing sensation, Sebastián Yatra once again demonstrates his great talent for vocal transformation across various genres. He surprised fans with the release of the new son, a ballad entitled, “Tarde”.
The official video was recorded on the streets of Venice, Italy while attending an event for Dolce & Gabbana with other artists such as Heidi Klum, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Boosworth, Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Sean Combs, Zoe Saldana, and Vin Diesel. The video shares a private moment when you realize love is over and we are left heartbroken, regretting the decision made. This emotional single really touched the Yatra’s soul.
Last week, the global Latino superstar transformed Elvis Costello & The Attractions’ 1978 classic, “Big Tears” into the song, “Llorar” for the his new album, Spanish Model. Along with the new album a documentary series about the project launched on September 13.
Yatra brings his unique twist to the Costello track that originally debuted as the B-side of the track, “Pump It Up”. The retro-chic video to “Llorar” was directred by Pablo Croce an featured Yatra and his crew as mannequins brought to life by a young woman in a modeling world.
As one of the leading voices in Latin music, Sebastián Yatra has a triple platinum hit with “Pareja del Año”, which he performed on Good Morning America. Also, it was followed by a double platinum hit with “Chica Ideal”. Without showing any signs of stopping, the multi-award-winning artist released a reggaeton track this year, “Delincuente” alongside Jhay Cortez.
Since that day, I have been study Latin pop and rock music and have become a Latin pop music historian through the publishing of articles, fanzine, and websites. My goal is to teach people about Latin pop music and the history behind it with my website, Siempre En Domingo.
