When I heard that Ricky Martin was teaming up with Columbian singer, Sebastian Yatra, I had a feeling that the we would have another song of Ricky Martin going Urban. This is not the case with the newly released single, “Falta Amor.”
The song acts as prelude to the upcoming Ricky vs Enrique concert tour which will feature Yatra as an opening act. This song will allow Yatra to have a bigger part in the concert with this duet with Ricky Martin.
A solo version of the song was originally released on Yatra’s 2019 album Fantasía, which the singer wrote with producers Andrés Torres and Mauricio Rengifo. This new duet version features Ricky Martin dropped today on the music outlets like Apple Music and Spotify.
The song is pretty good and blends well with typical ballads we hear from Ricky, so I am pleased with the outcome of the song. In less than 24 hours, the video has over 2 million views on Sebastian’s YouTube channel. It’s clear that fans love this combination.
