Surf rock is back with these youngsters that call themselves, Palmera Beach. Their newest single, “En El Surf” was released on digital platforms today. The band has been releasing singles over the past year. From what we have heard, they have promise in the rock and roll scene.
Brothers, Christhian and Yorchi Cordoba make up the duo with one on drums and one on guitar. Working with Discos Panoram, the boys are out of Mexico City and are releasing song after song to make a name for themselves. Working out of Mexico will be hard for the boys to cut into airplay on stations like Telehit (Mexico’s MTV) because the pop music scene has been dominated by urban and now, KPop.
Cute enough, they may be able to find their audience with a lot of determination and promotion. They had a decent sound with all their singles we’ve heard. Let’s keep our eyes on these guys.
