COMING SOON…. Siempre En Domingo Podcast
I opened the website a little earlier than expected because I wanted to start traffic and a buzz around the website. It also let me get a feel of being back in action and what I want from the brand where I want this website to go.
My initial idea was to make a podcast and video show to publish every Sunday with posts throughout the week that ties into what we talked about on Sunday. The entire point of waiting until July 18th to start anything was vacation. I leave on vacation in a week and will not have the ability to post anything for an entire week. This means, I would start then miss two weeks of music and broadcasting. I also thought about a live show. Maybe in the future when I have more traffic, we can go live but for now I think we will be pre-recorded.
My hesitation on podcasting and video was more on video. I don’t want to be on camera but I think I still want to podcast. Not everyone will listen to the podcast. Maybe no one will listen. Ultimately, everything with this website comes down to the name. SIEMPRE EN DOMINGO – Always on Sunday. If we post anything/everything just randomly any day of the week, what is the point of the website name?

This is why I am changing how when we post new content, minus any random commentaries about the music world. Or breaking news!
All of the music reviews and blog posts will be published on Sundays. Once I get back from my vacation, I plan to start work on podcasting. I would like to see me talk about the albums that I will be publishing on Sunday so it all works together like a happy family. Everything on Sunday. The hazard of that is that people are busy on Sundays. Sundays are relatively slow for traffic… So, it means, I need to spend the week promoting everything that was published on Sunday. Maybe, people will get used to the idea of tuning in every Sunday to find out what reviews we posted. Look forward to their favorites?
I am aiming for July 18th for the first official podcast. I hope you will stay tuned for more. Aun Hay Mas!
